An introduction to the Firesmart Canada Community Recognition Program.

This informal seminar will review current knowledge and research findings from Firesmart Canada. This session includes some interesting video footage.

I will also be covering the principles and activities that you can use to lower the chances of loosing your home to wildfire ,during a wildfire event.

Lastly,  I will introduce the Firesmart Canada Community Recognition Program. This details how you can become a neighborhood champion and have your community officially recognized by Firesmart Canada.
