LEGION WEEK: 100^TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE POPPY
OCTOBER 10-16, 2021

The Merritt Royal Canadian Legion 096 will be celebrating Legion Week on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at our Legion Hall from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

We invite you to join us in celebration.

We will be providing information on the organization and how we support veterans and our community.

There will also be a barbeque with free hot dogs and hamburgers as well as coffee and soft drinks.

Proof of vaccination will be required.

Tickets are$ 5.00 at the Door for each movie and everyone needs a Membership for 2018/19 which is $2.00 for the 6 films in the 2018/19 season.  Season’s Tickets packages are available at the September movie and are $30.00 for the 6 movie tickets, membership card, and a guest pass for the season.

Merritt's own Nicola Valley Museum & Archives will be attending the Heritage BC Heritage Week by holding an open house this February 20th - all are welcome to attend this event, which will come complete with refreshments!

Nicola Valley Arts Council is teaming up the Merritt Curling Club again, to host our 3rd evening of Jazz in the Attic.  The Justin Glibbery jazz Quintet is returning  by popular request.with a new set list for your listening pleasure.  Music starts at 8:00pm.   Doors will be open at 7:00.  Individual tickets will be available on Canada Helps through our website, www.nicolavalleyartscouncil.com .    OR you may get yours at the Old Courthouse Gallery at 1840 Nicola Avenue. starting January 16th Thurs, Fri Sat 12:00 to 6:00 pm also starting January 16th.   OR -- Call Jane at   250 378-5259 to reserve your table.
